Our unique open air Elias Room succah is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. Decorated lavishly and lovingly by the Shearith Israel Sisterhood who sponsors Succot kiddushim served on vintage Shearith Israel branded Tiffany Limoges china and elegant silver for all congregants to enjoy.  Teens and adults, women and men, are invited to help decorate in preparation for the Succot Festival.  To participate, contact Mrs. Lisa Rohde at or Aimee Margolis at or sign up here. Financial contributions to the Sisterhood’s Succah Fund are also welcomed to help defray the costs of decorating and maintaining the Succah.

Liberty Bell Rimonim

These Rimonim, modeled after the American Liberty Bell, were commissioned by the Congregation in honor of Judge Edgar J. Nathan Jr.

The 'Pineapple' Rimonim

These bells adorned a Torah scroll at the consecration ceremony of the First Mill Street Synagogue in 1730.
