Help us feed hundreds of struggling families!

We are proud to once again join with our community faith partners, The Jewish Center, West End Collegiate Church, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to celebrate Thanksgiving in the true spirit of the day - by giving to others.

While we can't hold an in-person Pack-a-thon this year, with the help of MASBIA, we will direct nutritious food packages to those in need. MASBIA was recently profiled in the New York Times for how well they have stepped up to meet the increasing demands during the pandemic.

Help us raise funds and feed hundreds of struggling families!

Again this year, thanks to an anonymous donor, all contributions will be matched ($10,000 max).

Kids can also support this project by supplementing your donation with their own "kid sized" donations (starting at $5).

On Thanksgiving Day, during our Thanksgiving Programming which will be streamed live on Facebook, we will have a brief presentation and video about this project and how it will help our communities.

Please give as generously as circumstances permit. To register and donate, click here.

Congregants, if you are local and have a need for food this Thanksgiving, Shearith Israel will make an effort to assist. Please contact us in confidence at info@shearithisrael.org.

The oldest of our extant cemeteries is known as the Chatham Square Cemetery.  It is located in Chinatown at 55 St. James Place.  The land was originally purchased in 1682 by Joseph Bueno de Mesquita.
