The Most Misunderstood Holiday: A Series on the True Meaning of Hanukkah

A Special Series by Rabbi Meir Soloveichik

Saturday, December 2, 8:15AM
Saturday, December 9, 8:15AM
Saturday, December 16, 3:30PM

In the weeks preceding Hanukkah, and culminating on Shabbat Hanukkah, Rabbi Soloveichik will shed light on how one of the most culturally famous of Jewish holidays has been misinterpreted, and that its history and true meaning speak profoundly to both American Jewry and the State of Israel today.

The first two classes will take place prior to shahrit on Shabbat mornings, December 2 and 9, at 8:15 AM and the series will conclude on the afternoon of Shabbat Hanukkah, December 16, prior to minhah, at 3:30 PM.

This series is sponsored by the Freilich Family, in memory of  past Parnas, Dr. Dennis Freilich.
