Annual Simhat Torah Dinner 5780 & Ice Cream Extravaganza

Our Simhat Torah Dinner is an annual Shearith Israel tradition, offering a delicious dairy dinner and relaxed atmosphere. Dinner reservations required.

Early Bird Pricing:

Member/PTTS/Toddler Program Adult: $27

Non-Member: $35

Child (under 12): $18


Regular Pricing:

Member/PTTS/Toddler Program Adult: $30

Non-Member: $38

Child (under 12): $18


No charge for children under 2 who don't need a meal. Please let us know on the registration form if you will need a high chair.


Sponsorship Opportunities:

$180 | includes one adult meal
$250 | includes up to two adult meals


All children, whether registered for the dinner or not, are welcome to partake in our annual ice cream party in the Elias Room, following Simhat Torah hakafot in the sanctuaries. Following dinner, all ages are welcome.
As usual, volunteer teen scoopers are needed.  Strong arms required, lactose tolerance preferred. Dress for the mess!
Ice cream party is sponsored again by the Haberman and Lustig families.


First Mill Street Synagogue

The little synagogue on Mill Street was the first structure designed and built to be a synagogue in continental North America. 

Liberty Bell Rimonim

These Rimonim, modeled after the American Liberty Bell, were commissioned by the Congregation in honor of Judge Edgar J. Nathan Jr.
