Leadership Updates

During this time of "social distancing," it is essential - until we are able to return to our beloved synagogue building - for our congregation to maintain "virtual closeness." Our congregation's leadership, and the entire staff, have been working tirelessly to create high quality virtual programming, to tap into our own volunteer networks who check in and look out for every member of our community, and to keep everyone informed through every modality availability to us. In addition to the frequent informational emails we are sending out, our congregants have been receiving weekly Leadership Updates.

Chatham Square Cemetery

The oldest of our extant cemeteries is known as the Chatham Square Cemetery.  It is located in Chinatown at 55 St. James Place.  The land was originally purchased in 1682 by Joseph Bueno de Mesquita.
