Mother of our members Charles Gourgey, and Annette Gourgey.
 

The funeral will take place on 
Monday, January 28th 
at 12:30 PM 

Plaza Jewish Community Chapel
Amsterdam Avenue and 91st Street.
 
 
Interment to follow at the New Montefiore Cemetery

Shib'ah Information:
 Shib'ah will be observed from Monday afternoon through Sunday morning.

Monday: 6 - 8 pm.
Tuesday - Thursday 2 - 8 pm.

Chatham Square Cemetery

The oldest of our extant cemeteries is known as the Chatham Square Cemetery.  It is located in Chinatown at 55 St. James Place.  The land was originally purchased in 1682 by Joseph Bueno de Mesquita.

Crosby Street Synagogue

 In 1834 the congregation built a new synagogue on Crosby Street, between Broom and Spring Street.
