Mother of our member Barbara Reiss

Shib`ah will be observed through Thursday morning (May 14).

Please help keep the number of attendees present on zoom at any one time manageable for the mourners.  Zoom thumbnail and gallery views can accommodate between 8 and 25 participants at any time. But the more participants on at the same time can make it difficult for the host(s) (i.e. the mourners) to see and interact with those on the call.

These Rimonim, modeled after the American Liberty Bell, were commissioned by the Congregation in honor of Judge Edgar J. Nathan Jr.

Maud Nathan (1862-1946) was founder and first President of the Sisterhood of Shearith Israel, established in 1896.
