Annual (Virtual) Girls' Book of Ruth Reading

via Zoom

Sunday, May 24, 5:00PM

Reading will take place on Zoom

Rosh Hodesh Sivan, Sunday Evening, May 24 | 5:00 pm

Each year on Shabuot, our girls read the Book of Ruth for our congregation in the Sanctuary. This year, they'll be continuing the tradition virtually prior to Shabuot, from their own homes.

Our virtual Shir HaShirim reading on Hol HaMoed Pesah was a beautiful experience for both readers and listeners, and we look forward to another special Zoom experience with you.

Join us to hear our girls as they carry on our tradition, and if you'd like to sponsor, click here.

Chatham Square Cemetery

The oldest of our extant cemeteries is known as the Chatham Square Cemetery.  It is located in Chinatown at 55 St. James Place.  The land was originally purchased in 1682 by Joseph Bueno de Mesquita.
