Upper West Side Blood Drive (The Esther Goldfarb Memorial Blood Drive)

presented by Shearith Israel's Caring Connection and The League, in conjunction with other UWS synagogues

Sunday, January 7, 10:00AM - 4:00PM

Kick off the new year by giving the gift of life - be a blood donor. For questions, contact the New York Blood Center at 1-800-688-0900.
This year, to maximize our impact, we are partnering with numerous congregations on the Upper West Side, so far including: Darkhei Noam, The Jewish Center, Lincoln Square Synagogue, Congregation Shaare Zedek, West Side Institutional Synagogue, and Young Israel of the Upper West Side.

This year's blood drive will be held at The Jewish Center. Click here to register. Walk-ins are also welcome.
If you would like to volunteer at the drive, sign up here. Volunteer responsibilities include checking people in, escorting them to and from the beds, and generally being a welcoming and orienting presence.

Crosby Street Synagogue

In 1834 the congregation built a new synagogue on Crosby Street, between Broom and Spring Street.

West 11th Street Cemetery

The West Eleventh Street cemetery, the second historic cemetery of Congregation Shearith Israel, was consecrated on February 27, 1805.
