Arbit and Eikhah begin at 9:20 pm. Members are invited to enter through the Portico on Central Park West beginning at 8:50 pm. General entry for all attendees will be from the 2 West 70th Street entrance at 9:05 pm. There is no reserved seating.

 

New York fire Regulations do not permit standing or sitting in the aisles, furthermore it is our minhag to sit on the pews on this solemn day.  We ask that all guests respect our tradition.  

In order to ease the flow, we ask you not to bring large bags or unnecessary items.  Expect to be inspected by security on entry.

The Fast of (the Ninth of) Ab, three weeks after the Fast of Tammuz, commemorates the breaching of the Temple Mount fortifications and the dates of destruction of both the First and Second Temples.
