Scotch and Arak Sponsorships

Kiddush is an enjoyable time to relax and catch up with friends, but at its core, kiddush requires the blessing over a glass of wine or other alcoholic (or permissible non-alcoholic) beverage. In addition to our weekly Kiddush sponsors and contributors we are also accepting scotch and arak sponsors to add to the joy of our kiddushes.  To sponsor or contribute to our scotch/arak fund click here.

For our scotch connoisseurs who prefer to donate single-malts of their own choosing, please contact Rabbi Ira Rohde at Irohde@shearithisrael.org.

Omer Board

Shearith Israel’s “Omer Board” dates back to the Mill Street Synagogue of 1730, and may indeed go back to the early years of the Congregation’s history.
