As a congregation committed to the wellbeing of all of our members and to our general community, we are proud to offer support through our Hesed network, Caring Connection. Caring Connection ensures that our members in need- whether dealing with an illness or injury, a long-term or permanent disability, the challenges of coming home with a newborn or a bereavement- are remembered and supported. Our caring Caring Connection volunteers deliver meals, make home or hospital/facility visits, check-in by phone and more.

Caring Connection raises the funds needed to defray the costs of all it does. Caring Connection also educates and trains community members to become sensitive volunteers and to proactively help others through times of need, one of Judaism’s greatest Mitzvot. If you would like to learn more or get involved or if you know a member who might need assistance, please contact caringconnection@shearithisrael.org.
