Thanksgiving Activities for Youth

Thursday, November 23, 8:30AM

While parents attend Rabbi Soloveichik's Thanksgiving Lecture, children of all ages are invited for a special hesed crafts activity in Levy Auditorium. Children will create and decorate note cards that will be included in the food packages that we will be packing later that morning.

After the crafts activity, children are invited to join us in the Elias room for hot chocolate and refeshments and then off to the portico for a parade view that is not to be missed!

Finally, at 9:30 am, school aged children, teens and adults are encouraged to participate in our Thanksgiving Pack-a-thon.

Chatham Square Cemetery

The oldest of our extant cemeteries is known as the Chatham Square Cemetery.  It is located in Chinatown at 55 St. James Place.  The land was originally purchased in 1682 by Joseph Bueno de Mesquita.
