Shabbaton in Old Philadelphia

Join us for a visit to our sister congregation, Mikveh Israel, in Old Philadelphia. Founded in the 18th century, Mikveh Israel is the only other remaining traditional Spanish-Portuguese congregation in the United States.
The program includes communal meals, Torah study, a Shabbat afternoon walking tour of colonial Jewish Philadelphia and a Sunday morning symposium on topics of Spanish & Portuguese history and tradition (as well as an optional Sunday afternoon tour of the new National Museum of American Jewish History).

5:15 pm: Torah Study
6:15 pm: Seudah Shelisheet, Arbit/Habdalah

9:30 am: Lectures, Discussions

In addition to booking hotel and travel accomodations, be sure to register with Mikveh Israel to the right under 'reserve tickets.' Mikve Israel is generously sponsoring the cost of meals, but you need to let them know that you'll be attending.
